Sailfish Solar is a leading solar developer in the State of Florida and manages a team of engineers and installers with the highest possible standards on every installation. We believe that when it comes to designing and installing an integrated residential solar PV system, one size does not fit all. We custom tailor every system to best fit our customers' homes, lifestyles and savings goals. Our solar consultants will work with you to determine the best fit technology, system size, and financing offerings for your needs. Sailfish Solar employs the best installers in the business, period. Our process creates a seamless end-to-end installation allowing us to design and install high-performance integrated solar energy systems, and then deliver system performance and production. We have a rigorous 100-point quality assurance process.

Mike Antheil - Founder, President

Mike Antheil is the Founder and Partner at Sailfish Solar and Managing Partner at Energy Finance Group, LLC.

With 20 years of experience in the solar industry, Mike expertly guides the solar installation and financing process from beginning to end. He is a trusted and unbiased partner for his customers with local, hands-on expertise. Mike lives in Stuart Florida with his wife and three children and is active in the local community as a board member of the Martin County Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee, the Sewall's Point Code Enforcement Board, and the Martin County North Little League. Mike is the past President and former Executive Director of the Florida Solar Energy Industries Association and co-founder and Executive Director of the Florida Alliance for Renewable Energy and currently serves on the Board of Floridians for Solar Choice and the Florida Solar & Storage Association.

Bret Campbell - Sales Director

Bret Campbell is the Director of Sales at Sailfish Solar and is responsible for overseeing all sales related operations at the company. A retired college basketball coach, Bret brings the leadership and focus to the sales team and delivers a best-in-class approach to all aspects of customer relations at the company.

Brett is a trusted and accomplished leader, savvy strategist, and highly effective communicator with a successful career in college coaching. He orchestrates solid sales and recruiting methodologies and is excellent in understanding different personalities, developing good teammates and providing viable solutions to winning. Bret was previously the head coach at Chipola College and has also coached at Austin Peay, University of Tennessee at Martin, Kennesaw State, University of Central Florida, and Valdosta State. he was named Ohio Valley Conference Coach of the Year in 2008. Needless to say we are lucky to have Bret with is efforts to organize, build, manage, and supervise a sales program in all facets.

John Cairns - Director of Operations

John brings extensive commercial and industrial solar project management experience to the Sailfish Solar team, along with the discipline, leadership, and mission-focused mindset developed through his service as a military veteran.

Before joining Sailfish Solar, John served as a C&I Project Manager with Urban Solar, where he managed more than 350 solar projects from procurement through commissioning. His experience includes coordinating project resources, developing schedules, managing vendor relationships, reviewing project drawings and specifications, and ensuring projects are completed within strict timelines and budget requirements.

Known for his ability to solve complex problems and keep projects moving, [Name] has overseen high-profile solar installations through planning, design, scheduling, procurement, and final commissioning. His background gives him a strong understanding of both the technical and operational sides of solar construction, making him a valuable asset for customers, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams.

At Sailfish Solar, John helps ensure that every project is handled with professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality from start to finish.

Brice Rosenfeld - Solar and Electrical Systems Expert

Brice Rosenfeld has worked in the solar and renewable energy industry since 2014, beginning his career with the U.S. Solar Institute and developing extensive experience in both residential and commercial energy systems.

Brice specializes in electrical design, utility interconnection, battery backup, off-grid power, generator integration, and smart electrical panels. His experience includes designing and integrating some of the industry’s most advanced energy technologies, including SPAN, Lumin, Savant, and leading solar and battery storage platforms.

His project experience extends well beyond Florida, with solar and energy projects throughout Connecticut, New York, California, Colorado, and the Bahamas. This broad experience has given Brice a strong understanding of how to design reliable energy systems across different utilities, building types, climates, and applications.

At Sailfish Solar, Brice brings a systems-level approach to projects that go beyond traditional solar—helping customers integrate solar, batteries, generators, smart panels, and electrical infrastructure into one cohesive energy solution.

Chip Paul - Sales Manager

Chip Paul is a veteran of the Residential and Commercial Solar Industry here in Florida. He has most recently worked as the Regional Director of Sales with one of the largest privately held solar companies in the state. He is a true professional, is well versed in photovoltaic installations and brings honesty and integrity to all projects. Previously, Chip was president and CEO of a large investment company and recognizes the importance of sound investment decisions for homeowners. His philosophy in solar is premium products with sound financial undertakings to receive the maximum return on investment. Maximum monthly savings for business and homeowners is the primary goal of all our solar projects, and we are happy to have him join the Sailfish Solar team.

Giovanni King

Giovanni "Gio" King is a Sales & Operations Manager at Sailfish Solar. With extensive experience in the roofing and solar industry, Gio is your "go-to guy" when it comes to how solar can affect not only your power bills, but also your way of life. Gio brings deep technical knowledge to the table and can be counted on to put the customer's specific needs first above all else. You will always get the straightest possible answer when you talk to Gio.

David Colby - SolarShine Division

David Colby is the Founder of SolarShine and a military veteran and firefighter. David brings a wealth of knowledge on all things solar panel cleaning and maintenance. SolarShine was acquired through partnership by Sailfish Solar in 2023 and David runs the panel cleaning division for the company in addition to serving as a technical and safety advisor for the company.
